Soooo… Dinner Tonight Was Amazing. However… I Forgot To

Soooo… Dinner tonight was amazing. However… I forgot to take a photo of the veggies and venison back straps. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Roasted Sweet Potatoes!
-Drizzle with Olive Oil
-Paprika, Onion Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, Oregano, and Salt!
-Toss and Shake, roast at 450 for 10-15 minutes. ( I did 375 for 30 minutes to get a softer potato)

NOT PICTURED!

Roasted Squash and Sweet Peppers
-Drizzle with Olive Oil
-Thyme, Rosemary, Garlic, Salt, and Pepper!
-Roast at 425 for about 10-15 minutes.

Venison Backstraps!
(I marinated them for about 24 hours, this is a marinade I use on almost all my meats because it’s amazing!)
-Apple Cider Vinegar
-Brown Mustard
-Brown Sugar
-Worcestershire Sauce
-Montreal Steak Seasoning
-Dales Seasoning
-Water
-Whisk all ingredients together and place meat in marinade!
Cook however you desire!

It was a pretty clean healthy dinner! And for those who don’t enjoy the gamey taste of deer meat… rest assured this marinade takes out ALL of that flavor. (I personally enjoy the taste with or without the marinade) but the marinade makes the meat super tender and tasty without having to add any sauces!

Let me know if you try it!
