Ready to elevate your guac game?⁠

Cool guacamole, spicy harissa, crispy wontons…..Luckily this recipe is easy and comes together in minutes because you will be making it all the time.⁠

Don’t have an air fryer? Not sure if it’s for you? Then read this about I, a classically trained chef, overcame my aversion to air fryers. ⁠⁠

Serves 2 (or 1 if you are like me….)⁠
Total time: 20 min⁠

✓8 wonton wrappers⁠
✓ Olive or coconut oil spray⁠
✓ 1 ripe avocado⁠
✓ 1/3 to 1/2 cup Bold Palate Hint Of Harissa ⁠
✓ Pinch of cayenne⁠
✓ Salt, to taste⁠

1. Cut the wontons in half on the diagonal, forming 16 triangles. Arrange eight of the triangles on the rack of the air fryer in a single layer. It’s okay if they overlap slightly, as they’ll shrink during frying. Spritz lightly with oil. If you have a second rack, place it on top. This will prevent them from blowing around. ⁠

2. Set the temperature at 350º and air fry for 3 minutes, checking halfway through to make sure they are not browning too quickly. If you do not have a rack to keep everything in place, you might need to shake them around every minute or so. Continue to cook until the wontons are golden brown along the edges. Transfer the crisped wonton wraps to a plate and sprinkle with salt. Repeat with the remaining wraps.⁠

3. In a bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until almost smooth. Add the Hint of Harissa, cayenne, and salt, to taste. Mix well to combine. Taste test, and adjust the amount of dressing, salt, and cayenne accordingly. Transfer to a bowl and serve with the wonton chips. ⁠
