? OVERNIGHT OATS ?

? OVERNIGHT OATS ?
.
Hello Wednesday, and with a very definite ‘nip’ in the air, I am choosing my ‘go-to’ winter breakfast of oats today in one of the many ways I love to prepare them.
.
This morning I am enjoying the fruits (no pun intended ?) of last night’s labour in a bowl of ‘overnight oats.’
.
Before I went to bed, I combined a cup of rolled oats, a sliced banana, a tablespoon of pure maple syrup, a dash of cinnamon and a tablespoon of chia seeds in a jar to which I added a cup of organise soy milk.
.
I then gave the jar a gentle shake to blend the ingredients together, and to make sure the oats were completely soaked by the soy milk.
.
I popped the jar into the fridge and voila, this morning I have a jar of deliciously creamy banana flavoured oats.
.
Depending on how you like your oats, you may want to add some extra soy milk for a thinner consistency.
.
I topped my bowl with a generous sprinkling of Frank’s Date and Almond Granola and some extra pumpkin seeds for the contrast of textures.
.
Let your imagination go wild by adding any kind of fruit that takes your fancy, especially your favourite frozen berries.
.
I love frozen blueberries or cherries in mine for something different, but banana is definitely my all time favourite.
.
I hope you try this easy and very nutrient dense breakfast idea, and if you do, please feel free to tag me and share your pics.
.
Love and light my beautiful friends. ??
