‼️Keep Scrolling if you’re on a diet. These are not healthy donuts 😅. I splurge a little on the weekends 😎.

We finished up the night with some scrumptious homemade vegan yeast donuts. I made a cacao frosting, some powdered Sugar and some cinnamon.

The dough is simple.. just replace dairy ingredients with vegan ingredients. It’s a basic dough recipe.

1 cup almond milk (warm)
1 T sugar
1 pack yeast
Mix and let sit 10 mins

Add 3 cups flour and 1 t salt. Knead. Let rise in oiled, covered bowl in warm place for 45 mins.

Roll out dough, use circle cutter(I used a glass), poke hole through with finger. Place on cookie sheet, cover and let rise again for 45 mins.

Deep fry until Golden. Add toppings. Enjoy! Easy.. but time consuming. 😃 ⁣
