Ealthy Dark Choc Oat Pancakes

Lock down is giving me a chance to get ‘creative’ πŸ˜‚. This morning I was about to make my standard oat pancakes for me and Phoebe when a stroke of pure genius struck me and that genius was CHOCOLATE!!! All I did was add a heaped teaspoon of sugar free drinking chocolate and 2 squares of 85% dark Lindt 🍫😍🀀

Photos also show the great li’l pikelets they make for kids and Phoebe tucking into hers πŸ‘ŒπŸ½βž‘οΈ

1/4 cup oats
1/4 cup flour (wholemeal / buckwheat / whatever)
2 eggs πŸ₯š
1/2 banana 🍌
1/4 tsp baking powder/soda
Heaped tsp chocolate powder (cocoa/cacao/drinking chocolate/protein powder etc) 🍫
1/2 cup water

Blend ingredients and cook in your oil of choice (I use a tsp of coconut). Then I just put a broken up piece of the chocolate throughout the stack and finished it with one on top!!

CALORIES?? The eggs, banana and oats add up ~300 calories, so you can easily keep under <500 calories depending on the type of flour you use! πŸ™ŒπŸ½(of course the oil adds cals too) The Lindt chocolate added ~100 calories. As a treat today it was absolutely divine, but if you're wanting to keep the cals down then you'll still get the chocolate flavour from whatever powder you add!! πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½ - Losing weight doesn't have to mean missing out on delicious food!!! ENJOY!!!! πŸ’œ . . . #pancakes #oatpancakes #yum #breakfast #brunch #delicious #chocolate #darkchocolate #lindt #healthyeats #healthyliving #recipe #weightloss #weightlossrecipes #lowcal #easyrecipes #easymeals #healthymeals #losingweight #caloriesincaloriesout #toddlerfood #toddlersnack #toddlerfriendly #toddlerfriendly #yum #foodporn
