Little baked vanilla donuts in a pink vanilla glaze with sprinkles. These are super easy to make and healthier than fried ones! And requires no yeast, no eggs, no condensed milk,no butter no donut cutters or molds. So here we go:
160g of All purpose flour
2 tbsp of Corn flour
1 cup of Curd
3/4 cup of Castor Sugar
1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
1-1/4 tsp of Baking powder
1/3 cup of Vegetable oil or any oil without intense flavour or even melted butter
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp of Salt
For the glaze:
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1-2 drops of Pink Color
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp of milk .
Method: *Sift flour, corn flour, baking soda and baking powder together.
*Then in another bowl, add curd and dissolve the sugar in it. Then add in oil and vanilla extract and give it a good whisk.
*Fold in the dry ingredients and then fill it in a piping bag for less mess.
*In a mini idli stand, add the batter and By using Ice cold water, make them proper and bake it in a preheated oven 180°C for 12-15 mins or until golden brown.
*For making the glaze, add milk, food color and vanilla extract to powdered sugar. And mix it for a min. (It will come together as sugar leaves water) *Allow the donuts to cool down, and then remove the center of each donut using a straw. Dip them in the glaze and add sprinkles when they are wet. *Allow it to set in the fridge for 5-10 mins. And Serve it in a bowl with Milk:) Watch the video for the recipe, link in my bio
