Crispy Pork Teriyaki


Crispy pork teriyaki

Ingredients:
1/2 kg pork chops
2 tbsp oyster sauce
Pinch of pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp flour
5 tbsp cold water

For teriyaki sauce :
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp honey/brown sugar
2 tsp mirin ( optional)
Tsp ginger & garlic
1/2 tsp cornstarch

Procedure:
1. Marinate the pork chops with oyster sauce and pepper.( 30mins)
2. After marinating coat the pork chops with cornstarch, flour and Cold water.
3. On a medium heat, fry the pork ( set aside when its half way brown)
4. Set aside for 3 mins, While the pork is chilling.Turn the heat to medium high then fry again. ( 3 mins)
5. Strain excess oil

Teriyaki sauce
1. in a bowl, mix your soy sauce, mirin/sugar, ginger, garlic , and cornstarch.
2. Pour your teriyaki mixture in a pan. Stir constantly until your sauce thickens.
3. Coat the pork chops with the sauce
