Cinnamon scrolls (swipe right for method)
Ingredients for the dough
1 egg
4 cups of flour
1 cup of milk
50g butter
7g dry yeast

Fillings
50g soft butter
3 tbsp cinnamon
100g brown sugar

Icing Glaze
125g icing sugar
40ml milk

Method
1. In a small bowl add the milk and butter and heat in the microwave for 1 minute
2. Break in the egg and whisk until well incorporated
3. In a large bowl, sieve the flour and add in the yeast, mix well with a dough hook
4. Add the liquid mixture and knead with a dough hook for 10 minutes. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky.
5. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and allow to prove for 30 minutes
6. After 30 minutes, roll into a rectangle shape and spread the butter
7. Mix in the brown sugar and cinnamon powder and spread on the dough. Use a roller pin to flatten and even out the sugar and the cinnamon
8. Roll the dough and cut into 8 pieces. Prove again for 20 minutes
9. Bake at 180 degrees celcius for 25 minutes
10. Prepare the icing by mixing milk and incing sugar and pour over the rolls once it has cooled down
11. Enjoy with a nice cuppa ?
