• Cheese Cake and Chill •
The insane amount of messages that I received asking me for the recipe of the cheese cake I baked, made me write a post instead of story.
Ingredients ;
16-20 pieces of digestive biscuits
5-6 tbsp butter
600 grams cream cheese
1/4 cup full fat yogurt
3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp all purpose flour
– In a food processor add your biscuits until finely crashed.
– Add butter until it achieves sand like consistency.
– transfer it into lined Spring form pan and press it with the help of a cup or use hands to flatten it – let it rest in the fridge
– In a bowl add cream cheese and beat untill light and fluffy and then add sugar and beat until fully incorporated.
– Add eggs one at a time and beat in between.
– now add vanilla extract, salt and lemon juice, beat well.
– Lastly, sprinkle the flour and nicely fold the mixture.
– transfer your batter in the pan with the biscuit base.
– Bake your cheese cake for 50mins at 150’C in a preheated oven.
– let it cool for about 1-2 hours.
– top it up with some mulberry jam (tin) or lotus spread.
Your yummy cheese cake is ready !
