Dolmades. My favorite. Just can’t have one! These are stuffed with herbs such as mint and dill. I added tomato, garlic, onion, olive oil, lemon, rice, ground meat, salt and pepper. I love my new Hardy Slicer @cutcocutlery SO MUCH for all of the preparation. It’s the ultimate vegetable and fruit knife.

Ingredients:
1 cup white rice
1 Tablespoon fresh chopped mint
2 chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 chopped onion
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 pound ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
50 fresh or jarred grape leaves. If fresh wash and blanch them.
1 Lemon sliced.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Chop up onion, tomatoes, and garlic
Then add in the mint and dill.
2. Combine in a large bowl with the meat and rice. Mix thoroughly together with hands.
3. Fill each grape leaf with a tablespoon of filling and roll appropriately. ( please see my insta tv demo on rolling grape leaves)
4. Place all rolled stuffed grape leaves in a clay style creuset pot in tight rows. (You can line the bottom of the pot with ripped grape leaves )
5. Cover with chicken broth (or water for fasting) and then place lemon slices over the grape leaves. Cover with lid half way and boil for ten minutes then reduce heat to medium for at least 45 minutes. If the water evaporates add more. This will ensure that the rice cooks through!
